Studio Policy


As a professional hair stylist I endeavour to ensure you are completely happy with your service and experience at Indigo Hair. In the event that you are not completely satisfied, please let me know at the time of your service or within 7 days of the service being performed.


All services are non-refundable, but I am more than happy to reschedule a corrective service free of charge , if notified within the 7 day notice period. This service will be performed at the soonest possible time to ensure you are looking your best and feeling fabulous as soon as possible.  This is not applicable to a change of mind (after the service has been performed).

Please keep in mind, using a box colour, going from darker to lighter etc, may result in more than one appointment to get the desired result. This will be discussed at the time of your initial appointment.


 I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who demonstrates behaviour that is inappropriate to other clients or to myself.


I understand that unforeseen circumstances arise and you may need to cancel or change your appointment. I ask that I am notified of a reschedule or cancellation as soon as possible, to allow other clients to book in. An SMS message is sent 24 hours prior to you appointment as a reminder, if you need to reschedule please ring the salon during business hours. If the reminder falls on a Monday, just a simple message reply is all that is needed. 


In order to respect my time, if an appointment is a 'No Show' then a non refundable booking fee of $20 will be required to secure a future appointment, or only be able to be seen on a walk in basis if time allows.


Please be courteous. If you are more than 15 minutes late to your appointment we may have to reschedule or shorten our service time.

I will always endeavour to be punctual, if I am running a little late ( some hair services can throw a curve ball occasionally ) I will let you know how long when you arrive. 


I love meeting your families, and to keep the little ones safe, please try to keep them off the salon floor where services are performed. I work with sharp tools and chemicals and I'd hate for them to hurt themselves.


Your booking request is based on availability, as is not approved until you receive  confirmation from Indigo Hair.


If a client has head lice all services will be refused, and I cannot complete the service until a head lice treatment is performed. If lice are found present during a service, the quickest option to finish will be done and we will reschedule. I have take home treatments available and will discuss how to remove them effectively. 


  • All vouchers must be presented at time of service, and are valid for up to one year from date of purchase.
  • Copies of vouchers are not acceptable
  • All gift vouchers are non refundable
  • Gift certificates are valid at Indigo Hair only, and are redeemable for all services and products only 
  • Cannot be redeemed for cash
